EdgeMaster™ II Features - Importing Coil Inventory

EdgeMaster II is capable of importing a coil inventories from a number of different sources. By importing the coil inventory, EdgeMaster II eliminates the time it takes to enter the coil information for each setup.  All values associated with the coil are automatically completed when the desired coil is selected.

There are only two steps required to import the coil inventory.  Step 1: Export the inventory into a text file from a third-party source.  Step 2: In the EdgeMaster II Configuration program, import the text file.

EdgeMaster II can import the coil inventory from a delimited file or a file that has one value per line. (See file layout.)

Setting up EdgeMaster II to import the coil inventory is a snap. All that is needed is to select the fields to import and put them in the order that they will be in the file.

Import any value that relates to a coil, including width, weight, tensile strength, OD, ID, etc.
