Applications

ASKO knives are available for the full variety of processing line cutting and wear applications. ASKO produces both circular and straight knives in all shapes, sizes and grades. ASKO knives are used for side trimming, scrap chopping, blanking, cutting to length, and coating thickness.

Grades

ASKO knives are custom produced for each application. Knives are available in a wide range of materials and are selected and heat treated to match the demands of line environmental conditions, strip characteristics, and shear/ side trimmer design. Knife material families include shock resisting tool steels, high carbon high chrome tool steels, high-speed tool steels, particle metallurgy grades and tungsten carbides.

Designs

ASKO knives are available in a range of designs. ASKO produces knives to mill builder designs, user modified designs, complex air nozzle/knife designs and in special situations can offer design advice for improved performance. Tungsten carbide knives are available in both solid and composite designs.

Reconditioning

ASKO provides complete reconditioning services for all ASKO products including complex air knives and welder dies.
